With technology growing faster than ever, there are infinite possibilities in the industries of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Did you know that you can find examples of STEM in use almost everywhere? STEM plays an important role in transportation, medicine, food production, and more. It’s not just for aspiring astronauts.
On the topic of STEM education, the U.S. Department of Education says, “We must also make sure that, no matter where children live, they have access to quality learning environments. A child’s zip code should not determine their STEM fluency.” STEM opens up possibilities for all young people to soar every summer and beyond.
